Our values
Truer Therapy exists to help people heal. That means everyone who uses this platform — users seeking therapy and therapists providing it — deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. These guidelines apply to all profiles, messages, reviews, and interactions on our platform.
What we expect from everyone
Be honest
Tell the truth in your profile, your messages, and your questionnaire. Honesty builds trust. Dishonesty breaks it.
Be kind
Words matter. Speak to others the way you'd want someone to speak to the person you love most. Disagreements happen — disrespect doesn't have to.
Be respectful of privacy
What someone shares on this platform is theirs. Don't share another person's information, messages, or identity without their consent.
Be patient
Therapy takes time. Matching takes time. People take time. Rushing helps no one.

We take every report seriously. Here's what can happen:
We use our judgment. We're human about this. But we don't compromise on safety.
