Information We Collect
We collect two types of data. Account data includes your name, email address, and password. Profile data includes the information you provide during the intake questionnaire or therapist onboarding, such as your preferences, concerns, location, and professional credentials. We do not collect sensitive health records, therapy notes, or clinical diagnoses. Session content between clients and therapists is never stored on our platform.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR and similar frameworks, we process your data based on your consent, our legitimate interest in operating the platform, and our legal obligations as a business. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at anchored@truer-therapy.com.

Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it longer. Therapist credential information may be retained for verification purposes even after account deletion as required by law.
International Data Transfers
Truer Therapy operates in the United States. As we expand internationally, we will update this policy with the applicable safeguards for each new region.

We use cookies to improve your experience and analyze site traffic. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We will notify affected users of any data breach within 72 hours as required by law.
